Thanks to everyone who voted for this blog in the Circle of Moms Faith Blogger Contest- I ended up in the top 25, at number 7!
I am unsure how I was entered in the contest, but I do know that the contest became politicized and many pagan folk were voting a "pagan slate" in the contest in response to some unfortunate comments on the parts of an evangelical blogger formerly in the contest. I am happy to report that of the Top 25, 12 were pagans of one stripe or another, including the #1 spot being held by the illustrious Mrs. B at Confessions of a Pagan Soccer Mom. I am saddened that there were so few Jewish and Muslim blogs making the Top 25. I made it a point to vote for all the minority religions in the contest. I feel we have a lot in common, living in a culture many consider Christian.
I encourage you to check out the other winners in the contest- I have! Check out my link and blogroll page while you are at it. And if I missed something worthwhile, please let me know!

It's an honor to be nominated!
So I just found out that this blog has been nominated for the "Top 25 blogs of Faith (written by moms)" in a search being done by Circle of Moms.
When I went to see the candidates, there was the usual spate of Christian mommy blogs (nothing again them- there are just LOTS)- but also a few Jewish ones, a few Muslim ones and I am not the only pagan/Witch one (Confessions of a Pagan Soccer Mom and The Pagan Mom Blog are also there)! I would love to see minority religions represented in the final 25. So if you like this blog, take a second and vote for me over there. Evidentally, you can vote from the same computer once a day! So vote early and often as they say.

Yule giveaway?
I am considering doing a giveaway on my blog for Yule and am looking for a couple of witchy and kid-friendly business owners to donate a prize or two!
If you have a botanica or occult store, a kids store (toys, books, etc), an eco-friendly store, or an etsy shoppe, etc- and are interested in promoting your business to my readers, I would love to see what you have to offer! (See below to see what I have to offer you!) I also encourage publishers to contact me for these things as well.
I am excited to offer my readers a contest or two throughout the year- starting with this Yule.
Witch Mom currently gets about 10K pageviews per month, and I have 535 followers from the various sources- Facebook fan page, Networked Blogs, Google reader, Feedburner, Twitter, and Blog Frog as of 10/1/2010.) That's pretty good very targeted exposure to witches and pagans who are interested in pagan parenting, among other things!
